What We Do
Canadian Cochin Club (CCC) is a non-profit organization with members who have their roots in Ernakulam district and currently live in Canada. Our association has over 160 paid and 600 non-paid members and we are always growing. All our events, programs, and social efforts are geared towards creating a feeling of togetherness amongst our members.
Our goal is to bring together all Cochin Malayalees and develop strong, supportive connections for our professional, social, and cultural advancement on Canadian soil. In order to facilitate our goal, we work with various social work institutions and regulatory agencies within Canada to support our members in every way possible. Our efforts create a sense of belonging amongst Malayalees with their roots in Ernakulam district.

Promoting Social & Cultural Activities
Part of our mission at CCC is to promote the social and cultural activities of our members and the larger Cochin Malayalee community residing in Canada. By promoting cultural exchange, we attempt to create an environment for our community members in Canada to demonstrate and grow their artistic and literary skills.CCC also assists Cochin Malayalees to go through a smooth and flawless transition to Canadian Society. Whether someone is here for a short period of time or longer, everyone can learn and benefit a lot from our programs, events, and support.
Every year, CCC holds events celebrating the importance of major Kerala festivals along with picnics and other get-together events for members and non-members. We also hold events from time to time to honor artists, scholars, and other well-known individuals within our community or those visiting from India.We also provide a platform for showcasing the talents of our members and non-members of our Cochin Malayalee community. Charity work is also an integral part of our constitution. From individuals to communities, we often run charity work both within and outside Canada.
