About Canadian Cochin Club
Canadian Cochin Club (CCC) initially began as a WhatsApp group, created with the goal of bringing together the Malayalees of Cochin residing in Canada. Our association welcomes everyone living in Canada with their traditional roots extending back to Cochin and the surrounding areas of Ernakulam.
Part of CCC’s goal is to assist Cochin Malayalees with seamless transition and integration into Canadian society. This includes all kinds of visitors to Canada - whether for short-term or for long-term.
Our organization has addressed the long-felt need of Cochin Malayalees in Canada to develop a forum for bringing everyone with the same roots together. Our programs are also focused on demonstrating our members’ passion for our native language and culture with an emphasis on music, literature, drama, and art. The capable and persistent leadership and efforts of our office bearers and members have helped the Canadian Cochin Club to grow by leaps and bounds and emerge as a reputable and well-recognized organization amongst the Indians living in Canada.
